Polina, 40, suffers from anterograde amnesia, which means she has to face the reality every day that her daughter, Taya, is missing. But the mother refuses to believe the worst and, despite her illness, conducts her own investigation, piecing together the events of what happened with the help of a diary. Polina increasingly suspects that Taya's disappearance was no accident and that her loved ones are hiding the truth from her.
